Chanel is licensed as Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of New Jersey and holds the Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) credential through the Center for Credentialing & Education. She holds several certifications including Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), Psychological First Aid (PFA) and Posttraumatic Stress Management (PTSM) and is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA). Chanel is also a Licensed Minister. With 9+ years of experience, Chanel seeks to restore and assist in the healing process of individuals through counseling, psychoeducation, mentoring and wellness initiatives targeting the mental, social and spiritual paradigms of one’s life. Education, empowerment, encouragement, enrichment and hope are aims that Chanel seeks to share with others. Through Oasis, Chanel hopes to provide a voice and outlet for the many issues that are faced in life from public affairs and mental health to self-esteem and spiritual matters. She is passionate about being an agent of change in the lives of families, adults and children. Sylvie obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work at Seton Hall University and obtained her Masters in Social Work at Rutgers University. She is currently pursuing her clinical licensure and a Doctorate in Social Work at Capella University. She is very personable and compassionate and brings that approach in therapy. Sylvie has experience in helping people work through anxiety, depression, grief, poor self-esteem, relationship issues, behavioral issues and challenging life changes. She helps others see the strength and power that lies inside of them to evoke transformation. Her goal is to work together to help you grow and thrive.

She's committed to creating environments where you feel welcome and safe to share your heart desires. Through counseling, Ambrial targets issues (family, work, school) and patterns that are impacting your mental health. Then through education and empowerment, using your strengths, she works with you to set goals to help you overcome those challenges. Her focus is school aged children and adults who deal with various issues, including anxiety, women's issues, postpartum issues, and coping.
